Last Sunday, August 3, Miss LT or Lorna Tolentino was interviewed by ABS-CBN the BUZZ ‘ host, Boy Abunda about Rudy Fernandez and the rumors about which networks Lorna Tolentino will choose: stay as a GMA 7 Kapuso or transfer to ABS-CBN Kapamilya television network. Lorna Tolentino is a widow of Rudy Fernandez. At the BUZZ interview with Boy Abunda, Lorna Tolentino said that she felt an emptiness inside when Rudy Fernandez passed away. Lorna Tolentino is a multi awarded actress in the Philippines showbiz, and currently Lorna Tolentino is a co-host of GMA 7′s Startalk . Lorna Tolentino plans to make her decision by mid-August. Lorna Tolentino doesn’t want to be in showbiz talk show at the moment.

GMA 7 television crew were invited at the ABS-CBN compound in the ELJ Building for a presscon for Star Cinema’s movie, "For the First Time ." The film stars Richard Gutierrez , the GMA 7′s primetime king and KC Concepcion , the new ABS-CBN princess. Everybody in the building were surprised that Star Cinema invited GMA 7 tv crew to the ABS-CBN compound. Nelson Canlas, a showbiz news reporter from GMA 7 mentioned that this is not the first time GMA 7 tv crew are invited for a presscon in the ABS-CBN territory. The first time was with Regine Velasquez and Piolo Pascual ‘ s movie, "Paano Kita Iibigin ." For the First Time is the first movie that Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion are starring in. Their second film will be under GMA Films. It will premiere in February, 2009. The working title of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion’s second movie under GMA Films is "When I Met You."
The Annual Bench’s Fashion Show event, Blackout was attended by both Kapuso and Kapamilya stars as models and audience. Richard Gutierrez, Dingdong Dantes, Katrina Halili, Alessandra de Rossi, JC De Vera, Ehra and Michelle Madrigal, Jay-R, Bubbles Paraiso, Margaret Wilson, Marco Alcaraz, and Francine Prieto are the Kapuso stars that strudded their stuff as they walk on the cat walk at Bench’s Black Out Fashion Show. The Kapamilya star models include Jake Cuenca, Sam Milby, Diether Ocampo, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, Zanjoe Marudo, Jon Avila, John Prats, Rayver Cruz, PBB teen housemates: Robi Domingo and Ejay Falcon, Bruce Quebral, Kian Kazemi, Valerie Weignmann, Angelica Panganiban, Sarah Geronimo, Shaina Magdaya, Rica Peralejo, Iya Villania, Christian Bautista, Rachelle Ann Go, David Chua, and Ryan Eigenmann.

The love team of the century, Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion flew to Greece this past Sunday, July 13 to shoot their film, “For the First Time.” Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion have a sweet chemistry on screen and off screen. In fact they like to tickle each other. Richard and KC even finished each other’s sentences. Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion will come back in the Philippines to shot the rest of the scene. For the First Time is directed by Miss Joyce Bernal, who also directed pinoy version of Marimar, starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.
Richard Gutierrez is the son of Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez. KC Concepcion is the mega daughter and daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.

Gretchen Barretto, a controversial and well known actress in the Philippines, returns to television. Gretchen Barretto can be seen at one of the episodes of ABS-CBN Kapamilya channel’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” According to the PEP article, Gretchen Barretto will play the city mayor’s mistress.
